Do my customers see the DealerForged™ name?

No. Your customers see your business name, your logo, and your branding. DealerForged™ only appears in a small 'Powered by' footer credit — which you can discuss with us if you want it removed.

What's the URL for my dealer site?

Standard plan dealers get lotbarrier.com/your-lot — clean and professional. Pro and Pro + Appraisal dealers get their own domain (crossroadsmotors.com) included in their subscription at no extra charge.

Do I own my domain if I cancel?

Yes, absolutely. Your domain is yours. If you ever cancel, we'll give you a transfer code within 5 business days so you can move it to any registrar you choose — GoDaddy, Namecheap, wherever. There's no lock-in.

How does ReviewBoost™ work?

Share your personalized review link with every customer. They rate their experience, then — no matter the rating — they're invited to leave a public review on Google. On the same screen, they can also send private feedback straight to you. You get more real 5-star reviews, and when something goes wrong you hear about it directly so you can make it right. It's fully compliant with FTC and Google review rules — no review gating, ever.

What is SmartAppraisal™ and how accurate is it?

SmartAppraisal™ is an AI feature that analyzes 3 phone photos (VIN sticker, odometer, exterior) to estimate wholesale value. It's a starting point for conversation — not a binding offer or certified appraisal. You should always physically inspect a vehicle before making a purchase decision. Does it work for any type of vehicle?

Cars, trucks, SUVs, motorcycles, RVs, boats, ATVs, side-by-sides, trailers, work vehicles, classics — if you sell it off a lot, you can list it. Honestly, you could list a big ol' Texas barbecue smoker on a trailer if you wanted to. Each type gets its own filter tab so buyers can find what they're looking for fast.

Can my staff log in too?

Yes. Invite your team from the Team tab and each person gets their own login with role-based permissions — Owner (full access), Manager (everything except billing and team management), Finance Manager (financing applications), and Salesperson (inventory and their own leads). No sharing one password, and you can revoke access anytime. The Manager role is included on Pro plans.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No long-term contracts on monthly plans. Cancel anytime from your account settings — you keep access through the end of the month you paid for. Annual plans run 12 months and save you about 15%, but there's no penalty for canceling — you just keep access through the end of your paid year.

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. When your spot opens and you onboard, you get 30 days of full access at no charge — your card is on file but we don't touch it until day 31. Cancel anytime before then and you owe nothing. Annual plans work the same way: 30 days to kick the tires before your year starts.

How is this different from Dealer.com or other platforms?

Those platforms are built for franchise dealers with big budgets and IT staff. DealerForged™ is built for independent operators — zero technical knowledge required, no long-term contracts, no setup fees, and prices that don't require a monthly meeting with your accountant to justify.
